Mini&Me Garden began with childhood memories on my grandfather’s land where gardening was a part of everyday life. I did not enjoy the chores but the moments of baking apple pies after harvesting apples stayed with me.
Years later I fell in love with plants while managing a cannabis grow operation. Learning the science and the meticulous care behind plants opened a door to emotional and spiritual growth that changed me. When I became pregnant, I realized the industry was not sustainable for the kind of mother I hoped to be.
After my daughter was born I moved back to Washington and joined the Pierce County Farm Foundation. Gardening gave my daughter the sensory support and freedom she needed to grow confidently with her neurodivergence. Watching her thrive made me see just how healing and transformative nature truly is.
Mini&Me Garden grew from that experience. Nature changed our lives and now I want to share that same joy and connection with other families.
